The new digital Starclean S3

Starclean S3 is an intelligent scraper that, together with our Cloud Dashboard, allows you to predict scraper maintenance. The scraper automatically regulates its own wear and simultaneously ensures a constant pre-tensioning force completely automatically. You can now continuously monitor your conveyor belt – this saves you a lot of money through optimised uptime and prevents unnecessary production stoppages.

Benefits
  • Continuous inspection limits damage
  • Effective use of resources improves operational reliability
  • Prevention of costly, unplanned downtimes for conveyor belts
  • Transparency
  • Automatic or manual connection and disconnection of conveyor belt cleaner
  • Automatic pre-tension adjustment
  • Slider indicator and warning for polyurethane scrapers
  • Constant belt damage detection of the secondary scraper
  • Driftstimer display for belt conveyor, scraper and wear parts
  • On, off and toggle counter
Indicator for transport speed and direction of travel
  • Control for up to four scrapers
  • RFID access with rights assignment to protect against unauthorised access
  • Information about the belt conveyor, scrapers and control system

Quick release strap tensioner

The Quick-Release system is developed for use in wet environments to increase cleaning efficiency by easily and quickly loosening the belt and providing good access for cleaning conveyor parts under the belt. Similarly, the conveyor belt can be quickly detached/replaced and effortlessly tightened with perfect pre-tension every time.
The system is specially designed for high-pressure cleaning and comes with an EHEDG certificate. The quick-release system is therefore particularly interesting for the food industry, where high food safety is a priority through stringent hygiene requirements, efficient cleaning with minimal use of water, chemicals and labour – or in any type of industry where it is important to reduce the downtime of the conveyor during cleaning or belt changes.

The belt tensioner is prepared for hygienic installation in the conveyor's frame structure along with drum motors and idler rollers.

Properties

  • Stainless steel (1.4301 / AISI 304)
  • Food-grade elastomers
  • EHEDG certified (motor and drum only)
  • The construction ensures easy separation and replacement of seals.
  • Belt tension adjustment: 0 – 50 mm (on each side)

Brush motor belt cleaning

We offer PUR brush scrapers, consisting of a ScanDrive® drum motor (Ø138 mm) fitted with PUR brush elements. The scraper is robust and highly effective and can be manufactured for all belt widths.

PUR is a cost-effective solution – and we deliver at lightning speed.

Undine ribbon cleaning

Undine is an innovative way of utilising pressurised water, whether for production or cleaning purposes.

In the production of foodstuffs, beverages, and other products, among others, there are increasing demands for hygiene and cleanliness, but also for reducing water and energy consumption.

The key to success is the incredible speed at which the tiny droplets are expelled: 900 kilometres per hour, 6 times faster than traditional high-pressure cleaning. Each droplet hammers away dirt. Every spot on the surface is hit multiple times, removing bacteria and grime. At the same time, each individual droplet has insufficient force to damage the surface. Products and machinery remain intact, and even soft vegetables are unaffected in the process.

The result is far more hygienic cleaning with huge water savings – whether hot or cold water is used. Furthermore, labour costs are significantly reduced. The system can be adapted to existing installations or built in from the start.

Undine can be advantageously used in connection with various production processes: cleaning of foodstuffs, cleaning of conveyor belts, or in connection with reducing losses during drying.

How Undine Works

The unique Undine nozzle consists of two chambers. In the first chamber, which is conical, water is mixed with compressed air, forming very small water droplets. Due to the pressure difference between the two chambers, the water mist is expelled through the nozzle at very high speed. The combination of the tiny droplets, which attack dirt and bacteria like small “needles,” and the high speed of the water mist, provides an unparalleled cleaning effect without any risk of damage to machines and belts. In fact, the water mist is so gentle that you can hold your hand in front of the nozzle.

So much can be saved!
Studies from a poultry and a pig slaughterhouse respectively in the Netherlands have shown that the installation of Undine resulted in the following savings and improvements:

Up to 60% in savings on cleaning-related labour costs
25% saving on water consumption*
Weight loss associated with the drying/cooling of meat reduced from 1.7% to 0.3%
Carcass cooling time reduced by 2 hours.
Reducing discolouration of meat and bone.
Visible and measurable improvements in hygiene (machinery and products)
No contamination of the carrier's surroundings (does not spray)
